The Selah Carefarm is a very special place on 20 acres of beautiful farmland where bereaved family members can come to both give and receive connection, compassion, and understanding. They have research and clinical interns, specially trained in traumatic grief by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore, counselor, researcher and bereaved mother, in addition to grief counselors, yoga teachers, and meditation teachers all available to meet with individuals, families and groups. They also have a newly opened guest house located on located on 10-acres of farmland at Andy’s Santuary.

The tranquil setting of Faith’s Lodge provides a peaceful escape for families coping with the death of a child to refresh their minds and spirits while spending time with others who understand their experiences. Our long weekend retreats combine professional grief counseling, therapeutic experiences, and group activities that help families heal. As the first dedicated retreat facility of its kind, our goal is to connect families and give them tools for coping with grief and its challenges in a healthy way. Faith’s Lodge is not associated with any one religion. The Lodge was named after the founders’ daughter Faith who was stillborn.

As the first grief support center for children in Texas, The WARM Place was founded in 1989 to provide a caring environment for children and their families, as well as young adults, who have experienced the death of a loved one. Here, children can safely express their feelings and connect with other families who are also grieving and understand.

CampSunrise – FOR SIBLINGS

Camp Sunrise, formerly Camp Erin, is a FREE weekend bereavement camp for children ages 6 to 17, which provides a safe place for children to share their grief with peers who have also suffered the loss of a loved one.

Licensed counselors and trained facilitators lead children and teens through fun, high-energy activities, which provide healthy ways to express feelings and help develop coping strategies for their journey toward hope & healing.

Camp Courage – FOR SIBLINGS

Campers between ages 6 and 18 come together with other children and teenagers who’ve had similar losses to learn new ways to deal with grief. The camp is free and offers many fun activities. 

Camp Courage is held twice a year in the beautiful Pennsylvania outdoors. Grief work is balanced with fun activities and access to a wide range of amenities.
